The Theology of Work pt.1

Joel Heusinger (Heritage Bible Pastor/Elder). Two years ago, Jon Hess preached an excellent 2-part series on the Theology of Rest. In that series, he wisely cautioned us with regard to the busyness of our lives. Our hurried culture combined with our own hunger for entertainment can often keep us running like mice on a wheel...with little to no time for rest and reflection. So, Jon encouraged us from Scripture with sabbath principles that we trust have proven fruitful for your lives. Speaking for myself, I know that I continue to need that exhortation and am thankful for how he fed us.

We did, however, also intend to balance that series with a 2-part series on a Theology of Work. So, we're thrilled that Jon was willing to prepare and deliver what we believe will be both an informative and applicable series on a sacred calling that we often call "work".
