Life With Jesus Starts Now

It's fitting that we conclude our G.O.S.P.E.L series on Communion Sunday. For, this series has reminded us that when it comes to our salvation, we did nothing to earn it, and can do nothing to keep it. We are saved by grace through faith alone in Christ alone and, thus, have every reason to remember Him with awe in our eyes. So, we come together again tomorrow to "proclaim our Lord's death until He comes".

So, if we can do nothing to earn our salvation and if we can do nothing to keep it, what role do works play in the Christian life? As we conclude this series tomorrow, we'll turn to James 2 and address an apparent contradiction that should lead us to clarity and application. For, life that is eternal starts now...and lasts forever!

G - God Created us to be with Him

O - Our Sins Separate us from God

S - Sin Cannot be Removed by our good Deeds

P - Paying the Price for Sin, Jesus Died and Rose Again

E - Everyone who Trusts in Him Alone has Eternal Life

L - Life that is Eternal starts now and Lasts Forever with Him!
