Explore the Gospel

Legalism is foolishly arrogant, incredibly dangerous, and ultimately useless. Last week in Philippians 3:1-9 we heard Paul's warning to the church about the perils of legalism. Having exposed this false gospel as perilous, he then moves on verses 10-16 to expose it as pitiful. It's a pitiful replacement for the glories of the true gospel. Friends, legalism is boring! The true gospel is an awakening to wonder!

I trust our studies will inspire us to pursue Christ with the adventurous spirit of the Apostle Paul. "Indeed I count all things as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ!"
