Faith or Fight

Can you imagine the aftermath of Lazarus’ resurrection? Can you imagine the buzz? If this were happening in our day, everyone would want an interview with Lazarus. Some raw cell phone footage of him walking out of the tomb might be circulating on Twitter. He'd be wanted on Good Morning America and maybe even the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Everyone would want a glimpse of the man walking around who got raised from the dead. And everyone would want to know how it happened.

Well, in John 11 and 12, there was certainly a buzz around Lazarus subsequent Jesus' raising him from the dead. But, the real question for our purposes tomorrow is this: how would people respond? How would the witnesses of Christ's miraculous works respond to Him? Would they humbly see that He is the Christ, the Son of God and believe? Or would they suppress the clear evidence about Jesus and put up a fight? We'll find out tomorrow as we study John 11:45 - 12:11. See you then!
